2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport, which I love. Unfortunately, the car is kept outside and I noticed that days when it's really hot outside after I start the car, turn on the a/c and begin to accelerate, the car makes a squealing noise. If I turn off the a/c and drive for about 15 minutes with open windows and then turn on the a/c, there is no squealing. Is there something I can do to eliminate this horrible noise? The car is 8 years old and I've had the serpentine belt changed about 4 years ago ...

I own A 2000 jEEP Cherokee Sport 4x4 at low speed between 10and 40mph I experience a rumble .I replaced both front bearing alredy .what do you think it might be ? My motor drinks a gallon of coolant every...

Using that much coolant, with nothing showing outside makes me think a head gasket is going away, or it is coming out and you aren't seeing it...Check the rug inside? is it wet? Have a dye test (for a blacklight) and hydrocarbon test done...no leak can elude those and it will tell you what you need to do as a fix. No "at home" tests you can do except carefully looking everywhere, cold with cap off and hot with cap on.

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee shifting problem from 2nd to 3rd

Check the kick down cable. If it sticks the transmission won't shift. I sprayed WD-40 on both the top and bottom connectors , and it worked like a charm. It's alot cheaper them spending 2000 on a new transmission you don't really need.

92 Jeep Cherokee losing power up hills / EVAP failure

Running out of power going up a hill is generally the fuel pump. Now days a plugged catalytic converter will do it also. The fuel evaporation test could be a bad gas cap or evaporation canister or hose somewhere. The exhaust manifold is a jeep thing, expansion and contraction, hot cold over and over. Have it welded or replaced.
