I need to know where the cigarette lighter fuse is located on a 2004 Jaguar x-type. What is the fuse number and is it located in the engine compartment or under the driver side dashboard?

    I downloaded the car manual and it is F52.... you were correct on the location of the fuse box and 15amp mini. Thank you for all of your help!

Should be in the Fuse box under the dash. On the inside of the fuse panel should be a diagram with fuse numbers & location.

    I don't have a fuse panel diagram (nor the owner's manual). Do you know where I can find which fuse is for the cigarette lighter? I found conflicting information - One said that it is F68 (my fuse panel only goes up to F56) and another said that it is F5. The only consistent information is that it is a 15amp mini. Please help.

    It is F68, 15 amp mini fuse. Try looking under the dash on the passenger side (where the feet go)

There should be a fuse diagram either in your owners manual or on the fuse lid itself. It will indicate which fuse is for the lighter.

The fuse number is 41 20A yellow mini fuse. Below is the manual the fuse number is on page 199. The diagram of the fuse panel is on page 196.

WHERE IS THE FUSE AND NUMBER FOR THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER.
Your fuses are under the steering wheel by your brake pedal on the left side ... I'm not sure which 1 is for your cigarette lighter but it'll be 1 of them... Just check them all While your car is off and out of the ignition. If you need some more help just let me know...

I have a 2003 3.0l Sport S Type Jaguar. The cigarette lighter socket is not working (cannot charge phone etc). I have changed the 20 amp fuse in the engine compartment but it is still not working.
part of the rear of the cigarette lighter is a built in fuse which blows when shorted. Fix is a new cigarette lighter are a lil soldier acrodd the terminals. Be carefull not to use the earth one though.

Jaguar x-type 2002 fuse diagram
Cigarette lighter fuse is in the fuse box on he driver side of the car under the dash. It is a blue 15 amp fuse, located on the left of the fuse compartment. You will see 4 rows of little fuses. The 2nd row starts a little further to the left than the 1st row does. The fuse you need is that far left one in the 2nd row of fuses.

Cigarette lighter not working, no power to it, can you tell me where the fuse is located for it
The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in the fuse box on the driver side of the car under the dash. It is a blue 15 amp fuse.
When you open this fuse box, you will see some larger relays with 4 rows of fuses below it. The fuse you are looking for is the first fuse in the 2nd row. in the 2002 X-type, that fuse is a little taller than the other ones.
