What causes my 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertibile jerks when idle and driving? Does this mean the spark plugs may need changing?

Yes that is one of the first places to start, obviously a full tune up would be desirable, but your probably trying to avoid the costs.
1.New spark plugs
2.Check the resistance of each spark plug lead, as long as all the resistances are similar they willl be ok. if any are quite a bit different change the whole set
3.New air filter element.
4.Change the oil and filter..
5. Possibly a new fuel filter.
the timing and the fuel mixture should not need to be touched

ok that is USA OBD2 federal code P0300 and means
all cylinders are misfiring OR RANDOMLY ALL.

it really means all cylinders have random weak combustion
THE CAUSES ARE (ASE DAY1 CLASS)
1: BAD ENGINE, WEAK COMPRESSION OR WORSE.50 CAUSES.
2: BAD SPARK , SPARK PLUGS AND OR BOOTS ON COPS
OMG HAS TWIN SPARK COIL PACKS (PAIRS) ODD LOOKING
8 PACKS + 16 PLUGS

3: BAD FUELING OR BAD FUEL. TOO LITTLE OR TOO MUCH

THE PCM DOES NOT KNOW WHY COMBUSTION EGERGY IS LOW
IT ONLY KNOWS IT IS IN TOTAL ON ALL 8 CYLINDER ARE WEAK.
IT MEANS THE PISTONS ARE SLOW TO MOVE, AT FIRE
THEY MOVE SLOWLY, AND WEAK. ALL DO. ALL 8.

LOTS OF CAUSES.
IF ENGINE TESTS PASS, COMPRESSION AND VACUUM AT IDLE SHOWS SAY 20 INCHES HG./ STEADY NEEDLE THEN WE
CONSIDER, NEXT SPARK PLUGS (DONE) AND COP BOOTS NEXT
THE COP BOOTS ARE 17 YEARS OLD AND THEY SURE DO LOVE TO CARBON TRACK THAT OLD!
THE BOOTS ARE SOLD NEAT,(1BY1) X16

11 TESTS ON A V8, NO GUESSING WE JUST DO THE TEST
OR BUY NEW INJECTORS IF RICH./
OR BATH IN FUEL GUESSING PUMP BAD. WEAK)

I AM NOT SAYING ALL 8 INJECTORS FAIL
SO PUMP PRESSURE TEST ARE NEXT.
OR FIRST IF YOU HAVE THE TOOLS
MANY A TECH DOES 4 TEST WITH TOOLS IN ORDER OF SPEED OF TEST. VACUUM. AND FUEL PRESSURE ARE FAST
BUT IS READY TO DO THEM ALL . OR GOES BROKE GUE$$
SCAN TOOL IS FIRST AND DONE.
COMPRESSION TEST IS TEDIOUS. X8, DONE WITH FUEL PUMP RELAY OR FUSE PULLED AND DONE WOT, AND ALLOW NEEDLE TO PEAK. 150 PSI OR BETTER X8
THE PUMP FUEL IS RATED MIN, 105.0 psi
REG IS IN TANK PUMP.

MY GUESS IS LOW FUEL PRESSURE. BUT IS ONLY A GUESS
I DO THE THE TESTS, NOT GUESSING 50 TIMES.

P0303 cylinder 3 misfire in 2008 Chrysler sebring convertible, changed all spark plugs & coil pack. Engine light continues to come on with this code ?

Recheck all work you have done. Sometimes folks replace the wrong coil pack as they can be easily confusing. If everything seems ok, there are still two possibilities. First, ensure that the fuel injector is consistently firing for the cylinder, and also ensure that it is not constantly firing. Either can cause a misfire, one for too little fuel, one for too much fuel. Lastly, check compression in the suspect cylinder. A broken or burnt valve can cause loss of compression, leading to misfires.

Your transmission fluid level is low . Per your owners manual . it's time to have fluid and filter changed. Also it's a good idea to have system flushed

Why does my 1998 sebring idle fine but sputter badly under load.

Does it use spark plug wires or individual ignition coils for the each plug?. My 98 intrepid uses coils and occasionally I have to change them out cause it would start to miss when normal temperature was achieved. If it uses wires, try replacing them, along with the spark plugs.

COULD BE WEAK FUEL PUMP WEAK IGNITION SYSTEM CAUSED BY A BAD COIL CLOGGED AIR FILTER..CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS SEE IF IT HELP.IF NOT YOU HAVE LEAKING INTAKE OR LOW COMPRESSION CYLINDERS.CODE SCAN FOR FAULTY TPS SENSOR.

I think I locked my keys in my trunk of my 2004 chrysler sebring convertibile? How can I get the trunk open. The trunk release button on the inside does not work.

Does the back seat fold down? If so you may be able to get into the trunk from the back seat. Check to see if a fuse is blown for the remote trunk latch. The owner's manual should help to see if there is a fuse for it.

to reset the computer simply unplug the battery for about 30 minutes.

However, you have a different problem I believe. you need to check your plugs and wires/coil packs. A fouled spark plug will cause rough running at any speed.

2002 sebring lx will not idle

Change out the other plugs, it may be difficult but they are meant to be reached. It just requires trickery.Be sure to check codes on the computer and consider changing the wires too.
