run fault codes and check for mechanical problems . If you did not have the head machined before replacing the gasket then have a compression test done as you may still have a compression / gasket problem

Probably blew your intake manifold gasket that would cause the antifreeze to enter the intake also a blown head gasket would cause the same symptoms as to the module I'm not sure could be the computer or the abs pump

Here are the most common causes of idle surge, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake

First make sure you have spark. Change the oil, remove spark plugs, disable spark and fuel system, turn engine over to build oil pressure, check compression in each cylinder, reassemble and start. It sounds like you flooded it enough to ring wash it and loose compression. Make sure you find out what caused the no start situation, valve timing, spark, etc...

You're in the TDI (diesel) solutions section so it uses glow plugs.
If it's a petrol engine 2.0L then it would be accessible above and below intake manifold using a swivel spark plug deep socket.

sounds like a vacuum leak at the manifold. spray wd40 or simillar around manifold to check for leaks. if you find a leak, engine will flare up.

Have you checked for vaccume leaks?
You've got lots of parts in there, Has the problem been the reason you have replaced all of those, or did it come up while doing some of the repairs?

It's possible he has two plug wires crossed, or pulled a spak plug wire apart replace #2 spark plug wire First. To test check the firing order and make sure all the wires on the right plugs and the correct place on the distributor, if it is right, then buy a can of carburator cleaner and spray around the intake gasket if the engine revs up when you spray the carb cleaner around the intake manifold with (engine running) if the engine rpm revs up you have an intake leak.

IF The Plug Is Firing, The Engine Should Drop In RPM. If All Checks Out Ok, Starting Checking Other Abvious. Things...Like Fuel Preasure. Those Style Vortech Motors Have Trouble With Intake Gaskets Blowing Out And Leaking Water, Sometimes Into The Crankcase. Just Do A Good Visual Of Everything, And Just Think....What Makes An Engine Run?.......INTAKE-COMPRESSION-POWER-EXHAUST- Good Luck

i hate to say i had to replace the intake gasket. but do a little tune up first change fuel filter plugs wire spark plugs besure to get the spark plugs your engine call for.some call for platinum. the 98 on up 2000s model call for platinum.have some one check your fuel pressure . it should be 41 to 47 psi. if you know somebody with a code scanner . tell them to scan your car make sure your torque converter on tranny not staying locked up. check under hood for vacuum leaks. good luck
