The location of the flasher relay on a 1998 Dodge Truck is in the fuse panel which is located on the left side of the dash. It is accessable when the door is open. All you need to do is pull off the panel cover to expose the fuses, and the diagram on the fuse cover will show you which one is the falsh relay. The one on my truck is blue, and is about one inch square.

Hope that helps.

Where is the driver side brake light fuse located

Under the Hood in the large black fuse box next to the battery. Check fuses 32 and 34. 32 is the Right side and 34 is the left side. Both are 10A.
**Note** ALWAYS replace fuses with one of the same Amp rating.

I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 cargo van, my turn signals do not work, I change the flasher twice.

I would have to assume that there is a relay or two on the flashers to be able to separate the emergency flasher from the signals, and the marker lights from the brakes etc. Replace the relay or swap with another one to test.

Dodge ram 1500 2007 turn signal malfuction

Good job, and good joe to you for solvin it! Now you'll remember that's a common indicator of a burnt out bulb. For some reason I can't explain, that is how a bad bulb acts on the flasher unit - by more rapid clicking (breaking contact inside the flasher relay at a quicker rate). It seems both the front and rear signal lights have to be working for the normal flasher rate ...well good.

The brake ,hazard and turn signals do not work

I suggest first check FLASHER unit. On 2001 Dodge Truck RAM 1500 1/2 ton 4WD 5.2L SFI 8cyl the Flasher is located on seating area, driver side, at the left side ofinstrument panel on fuse block.

Hope this helps (remember to rating this free answer and leave a testimonial comment).

99' dodge ram 1500 signal light stopped working

If they went out completely it is probably the flasher unit. I just had to replace mine. It's on the fuse block on the left end of the dash. It's the big square unit on the bottom left of the fuse block (looks more like a relay than a fuse). Very simple fix, just unplug and plug in a new one. Part was $11.99 at the auto parts store.

Turn Signals work intermitently on 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup

My turn signals worked fine until last night when I ran my battery down and had to get a jump. I realized right away that my turn signals suddenly didn't work. My theory hasn't been tested, but I am going to unhook my battery cables and reconnect again to see if that does anything. If not, I'll check out the steering wheel and that big square thing by the fuses. Thank you for all the posts and I was so happy to find this web page!
