You don't change the cv joint. You purchase a half shaft left or right side and you replace the whole axle shaft they are around $150.00. Take off the tire, remove axle shaft nut, remove spindle from lower ball joint and pull the axle out of spindle then you take a large pry bar and carfully pop the axle shaft out of the transmission. Very easy job only takes about 1 hour to for complete job.

Bad ball joint. Lube got rid of squeak but now the worn part pops as you turn. Replace both sides to be safe.

A clunk when i turn

It sounds like your CV Joint is worn. Simple check is to drive in a left circle and then right circle. If the noise get's worst when your turning left or right, then it's time to change the CV Joints.
Might as well change both sides since they have the same miles.
Total CV joint failure = Tow to the shop.
Good luck and hope this helps.

Clunking on the passanger side in the front end

Have your C?V joints checked. Likely this is where the problem is coming from. Sometimes if the joint is excessively worn, lifting the vehicle changes the position of the joint enough to make the problem noticible (suspension travels much further when lifting than during normal operation) A joint in good condition will not do this. I can't be 100% on this because I can't see it, but I have seen this happen before.
