Heard loud bang and now the front driver side door window does not roll up. I can hear the motor working, but the window still does not roll up. One week later the exact same thing happened to the front passenger side window. What could it be and how much is it to fix?

Possible that the mechanism has jumped off the linkage . You will need to remove the flap and get access to the window winding mechanism. You will be able to notice the main motor mechanism which has either jumped off - as you heard the sound- or there is a gear that has come off the motor drive.
A resetting of the winder to keep the motor drive coupled to the window winding mechanism should solve. Also make sure that the glass channels are clear and free , not giving friction to the mechanism to jump off.

2003 Durango front drivers window jumped off cables tracks

This a common problem on the chrysler products. The whole assembly inside the door while need replacing. I thinks once you get the panel off there is only about 5 screws that have to be removed. the assembly comes already as one piece. its really not to hard to change.

Hi,
Seems some supports / clips of glass was falling down make your window unable goes upward. It is not to hard to fix it and these can be purchase auto part store ( I guess you don't need to buy new ones but just re install existing ones). If you are confident enough just go through with your plan and have it fixed yourself.

04 taurus Power Windows, passanger side goes down, not up, new mo

It is most likely the switch itself. since the down works that means that there is power going to the switch. So, the up position switch is probably worn out.

How to repair driver side window ,front.window won't roll up.i think there is a belt in the door that is broken, but don't know how to get to it or replace it.

take off the door panel.there is a motor on the assembly, behind the plastic sheet.bang the motor,it will probably work.use a test light to see if there is voltage.one wire has 12 v for up and the other wire 12v for down.the ground.

Driver's window

I have the same problem, its more than likely a sticking motor. I just punch the door panel below the window switch (where the motor is) and it works. You may have to bang it a few times but i have to do it about once a week on the front right or my car.
