I am a law enforcemnet officer and I am installing a RADAR unit in a 2008 unit. I need to know the location of the VSS wire. On the 2006, the wire was a gray/black wire located behind the passenger's side kick panel.

The wire color is gray/black located at the passenger kick panel or at the PCM 50 pin plug, pin one. The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is under the hood, on the driver side fender. On vehicles with premium audio, it is also found at the radio, 24 pin plug, pin 14.

Hi Hodgson, If you want,you can go on alldatadiy.com and buy you vehicle info for under 20 bucks for a year. That will give you all the wire diagrams you need. You will be looking for the vehicle speed sensor signal wire . ( VSS). I would look at the pin out connector of the computer and it will be there. Most of these have 3 wires,one power 5V, and one ground and the other is the signal. Goodluck and let me know if this helps.
