My 1994 SAAB is loosing it's antifreeze and I can not see any areas where is would be draining out of and there is no places where it shows that it is leaking out on to. Do you have any idea what could be happening?

I have a 1994 Saab 900 SE. Just a couple of months back, I was also having that same issue. I couldn't figure out where my antifreeze was going and I didn't see any leaks. First, place a large piece of card board under your vehicle over night. If there are spots on the board, you may have a small leak in one of your tubes. There is a large long tube running in the front of your vehicle, when you pop the hood. You should check that tube to make sure that there are no leaks from there

How do i flush and replace radiator with anti-freeze ?

Drain the old antifreeze. Add straight water and a chemical flushing agent from a parts store, and follow the instructions for using the flush. Then drain again, and replace the radiator and use a 50-50 mix of antifreeze and water (distilled water, preferably-it is cheap) to fill up the cooling system. Leave the radiator cap loose, and start the engine and let it warm up to operating temperature-the upper hose will be hot after the thermostat is opened, and the coolant level will drop some and need topping up.

It's a good idea to also change the thermostat while you are changing the radiator. If you are not replacing the radiator itself, but a lot of brown rust drains out, then take the radiator off and turn it upside down and flush out good with a water hose.

Where is the coolant system

It's probably telling you that coolant (water & Antifreeze) is low. Container is at back of engine on firewall - typically next to the Brake master cylinder.

Refill up to the COLD mark when the engine is cold with 50/50 water and antifreeze. Close cap tight.

1994 saab 900 se has a ticking sound coming from top of engine and near as i can tell it is from the area of the intake manifold and some backyard mechanic who listened to it said that it was a lifter ...

Yes, that's entirely possible, especially if it has hydraulic lifters. They sometimes get plugged and then don't function properly. And they are right in the top portion of the motor.

I have a 1994 Saab 900SE. It is running hot but there is no leakage of fluids and the fan is working. Does the radiator needs flushing or do I need a new thermostat?

The leak can be in form of steam /. mist from the freeze plugs on the engine block.

Coolant system should be flush every 2 years or 24,000 miles.

As a preventive measure, you should replace the $15 thermostat every 6 years and check the radiator/coolant cap condition.

Oil Leak

The oil leak at bottom of radiator could be oil cooler and/or supply hose. Try check closely for wettest area .
The other leak could be thermostat cover, it only uses a sealing ring and is prone to leaking after time.
