The translation isnt very good but i think from the codes you need a new throttle position pedal sensor ,its the one on teh throttle pedal under the dash ,the other codes have no meaning to me as they are B codes and these would only show on a dealer diagnostic machine so iam surprissed you have managed to extract these codes ,so i assume you have visited a chinese web site to buy some of their lovely pirate software ,iam saving up for mine with the earnings from this web site

How many miles should my 2003 Suzuki alto manual do on half a tank of petrol.

there is no answer that that. we dont have ALTO in USA. so....
only how the driver drives his car , answers that.
light foot or heavy.
tire inflation
engine tuneup missed.
you said petrol so ,means you are not USA, for sure.
we call gasoline GAS. here. and is not a diesel,
varies by a vast number of things,
engine size, and type, turbo or not. you never said !
load in car. or pulling trailer.
if engine fault light is on.
speeds you drive,
and more, lots more,
after all the car dont drive you, YOU DRIVE IT !

I have a 2000 ford focus its slow to pick up speed, and jerking/ lag shifting. It shifts fine the first time but after that it won't shift till about 4 to 5000 rpms. And I let off the pedal to shift

an old one ---think it needs a new front clutch and brake band ,but do check for a vacumn pipe from the inlet manifold to the gearbox long shot but it might have a vacumn controlled unit in the gearbox to tell it when to shift doubt it as this was only on cars in the 60s but you never know.

My 1999 petrol land rover free land goes on 3000revs doing a 100kz seems to be bit high

Is your Freelander and auto shift or manual shift? If it is a manual shift, there might be a problem on your clutch system. If it is a automatic gearbox, the gearbox would be the problem.

Desciption of the gear positions on the automatic gear shift

The gearbox normally shifts like this in "D":

1st gear to 2nd gear

2nd gear to 3rd gear

3rd gear to OverDrive

If you have the selector in "2", it will not make the final 2 shifts. "2" is nice for descending very steepo hills slowly, and also is nice to use coming down hills when it is icy/snowy, the engine will slow down in "2", and you will not have to depress the brake pedal.

Wont shift out of park

Same thing happened to me. I had accidentally kicked something while streching out my right leg. It turns out there is an actual switch somewhere up above your feet directly above the brake pedal area that I had toggled when streching my leg!

Because I knew that it must have been that I kicked something, I was reaching under there, above near the brake pedal and eventually, miraculously found a little switch, which when toggled again, allowed me to get the car out of park and drive away.

I have yet to find any reference to this in the owners manual or online yet, but it's a fact.
I tried to find the switch again a moment ago, but could not - had to get back into work as I had been stranded on the road for the last half hour.

WEIRD!

Gearbox doesn't shift smoothly

Hi! When was the last time the fluid was changed? also I've found that the trans sump gets very filthy and sometimes the gauze filter inside gets clogged not allowing full flow of trans fluid. perhaps removal and a good clean? Are you sure the whistleing is coming from the transmission? Could it be Turbo whine? or possibly Air Con belt?
Hope this helps!
Happy New year!

Chrysler neon lx gearbox

If you find one that has a 4-speed and the same engine size, then they will fit. What you need to watch for is that you get the correct gear ratio tranny to keep your car operating properly. I only know one way to know for sure and that is a number stamped just above the pan rail on the bottom oil pan. It will be long and have some letters at the start of it. You may be able to get that to a dealership and have them look it up. If the donor transmission is still in the car then the vehicle id number should tell you what ratio the trans is when it's looked up. That is how it's done with the US cars, it may vary a bit with the UK ones, but I am not sure.
