Located inside the driver's door, is an electronic module, which has connectors on it for several items, including door locks, etc. Check that all connections are ok, as well as any fuses pertaining to these functions. This module looks like a thin square box, with several wires attached with different connectors and so on. Good luck.

Is this an aftermarket key opener. ? The brain box for this unit is some times mounted behind the left kicker panel by the left foot of the driver. And they get wet from foot water ie snow. Rain. The yr of ur car sounds like this unit could be water damaged. Have a look. Is u see green stuff allover the contracts thats ur issue. As well some times older cars remote fob controller is not isolated from other sigs. Ur truck does it only pop open when parked in one location ie home or work u might be picking up a similar radio req as ur button for truck lid as they have different radio freqs to control different things

Window left open during rain now power window and lock not working on driver side door on 2006 chevy trailblazer

{: ) That's too bad. The driver door module could have been internally shorted out. It's normally not serviceable. A new driver door switch or module will need to be programmed to your vehicle before it functions properly.

The main amp box is under the passenger seat so it might have gotten wet.

Power window problem

First check the power window fuse,
1. Remove the door panel for the affected window.
2. Locate and remove the bolts holding the regulator to the door; it is likely you will have to manually lower the window in order to access the bolts.
3. Remove the old regulator, disconnect all wiring and check the wiring , replace the old regulator with a new one if defective.
4. Tighten the bolts holding the new regulator and reinstall the moisture barrier. Make sure all the wires are put back in the door before closing the door panel.
5. Engage the power window switch and the new regulator should work unimpeded.
