My sidekick will turn over and just wont start, we supplied power directly to the fuel pump and it would run but there is no power going to the pump all fuses are good.

Some of the european suzukis had 2 small wires on the starter motor solenoid.
one of these was the trigger from the ignition switch, but the other supplies power to the ignition electrics (fuel pump and coil) when the ignition is in the start position.
if the second wire is loose or broken it will cause the problem you are describing

My buick 2002 rendevouz wont start

These had numerous fuel pump issues first the pump it self would go bad (YOU CAN TAKE OFF THE Gas CAP AND LISTEN CAREFULLY TO TRY TO HEAR THE PUMP RUN) And they also had wiring problems that supplied power to the fuel pump as well as other items. If it cranks but wont start check fuel pump first....

I have spark at he plugs, but veh wont start 1994 is it fuel???

Well there is only two things that make an engine run... one is spark the other is fuel. if you have spark to the plugs through the wires i would check for fuel. There should be a shraider valve on the fuel rail if it is fuel injected, ( it kinda looks like a valve stem on a tire but all metal). have someone turn the key while you are under the hood with cap off wait for the fuel pump to pressurize, then push the valve core in and see if there is any fuel going into the fuel rail. if not then a fuel pump, filter, or fuel pump relay is bad. I f there is fuel e-mail me and i will help you further. [email protected]

91 sidekick engine won't start, fuel pump relay replaced and working, fuel pump not running

Check for power at the fuel pump, I've seen these have a bad connection for the fuel pump in a connector behind the left rear taillight. If that connection is good and you have power and ground to the pump when you cycle the key or crank the engine, then replace the pump.

No fuel

I come to find out,the fuel command is controlled by the computer, due to corrosion in the internals, it is not telling the fuel pump to turn on,so in turn, I run a switch to the power side of the fuell pump, it works, but the weird thing is, you only need the power on to start the truck, after its running, you can shut the switch off, it stays running, shut it off, you need to turn the power on to make it start pumping again, now who can explain this??
