I have Alfa 156 2.0 TS Selespeed, year 2000, mileage 71000. This morning I started the car normaly, but the problem is that I can't shift to first gear. I can shift to R and to N, with no problems, but when I push up for the first gear, nothing happens, no sound, no flashing on display, no warning lights, nothing, it just stays in N or R. I tried turning off and on the car, and trying again but nothing. Last night I drove my car back home with no problems or signs of ptoblems. My battery is fine, and it starts the car normaly. When I open drivers door I can hear the pump works and sounds normaly. I cannot find any leakage of oil or anything else below the car. I checked with alfadiag and the hydraulic pressure semms good 50 bar. Any clues of what could be the problem? I forgot to say that I rarely (once a month) have a problem that during driving I suddenly cannot shift from 3. to 2. gear. Thanks.
