New starter and battery, and no power on a 2003 Toyota Corolla

I am not familer with this exact car but 2 things to look for, Many of the Jap cars have a main fuses. usually located near the battery, ina small fues box there will be a wire that attaches to the positive batt cable that goes to this little fues box It usually powers the IGN circut which powers the starting circut. .. on Americsan cars they use a fuseable link which is a piece of wire that burns out when a live positive wire is shorted out. in place of burning the whole wiring harness. its easy to see this problem since the wire will be burnet in half..

Being that this happened tells me that you have a short probably at or near the starter.that is blowing the fuse or burning the fuseable link. Look for this short or it will just burn out the fuse again.

How remove f link from fuse box in 97 corolla

Hi. The fusible links are the big fuses located in the fuse box. The exact location of the fuses depend on the engine and on the version of the car. In 1997 Toyota built series
7 Corolla. At the end of 1997 Series 8 was introduced. in the year 1997 both models with different engines were distributed. There are up to 4 fusible links (big fuses ranging from 30 Amp towing protector to 100 Amps) See here.
Low amps fusible links are also in passenger compartment.
The fusible links are simply fuses and can get replaced using long nose pliers.

Below I have published the fuse diagrams covering Toyota series 7 (1993 to 1997) models.

The fusible links can be purchased here.
The site also includes schematics.

In case the car is a series 8 (late 1997), here service manual for series 8.

Here a fuse link for Corolla 1997, color may vary depending on amps, the one below is low amp current 30A, 100A is usually blue and 40A green, there may be black fuses with no color code:

No crangking....no power on dashbord...

You have a open maxi fuse or a fuseable link you will need to start at the battery terminal and look for a open fuseable link, from there inspect the starter for a open fuseable link, the inspect the engine junction fuse box for any open maxi fuses

I pluged my battery the wrong way (pos on neg and neg on pos) so now the car start but the lights the meters and a lots of electric stuff does nt work. I allready check the fuses under the hood onli one...

It is a pretty good bet that you fried a number of components, however there is more than one fuse block. Look under the dash. There is also a box that has relays and circuit breakers. Test these too.

My 1993 F-350 has a 351 gas engine and now the fuel pumps and coil are not getting fire. Is there any fuse links or relays that would prevent them from working? Any help would be appreciated.

yes the the ignition and fuel pump are usually on the same fuse or circuit, check your fuses, if you can get wiring diagram of the two circuits it may show you if there is afusible link, they are a bit more of a pain to find, in the miles of loom in a vehcile, but they are usually located close to the battery or the fuse panel. most of the time they are grouped together with the other fusible links. Does this truck have the duel tanks before and after the axle, make sure the switch is working corectly too.
