Im replacing a tail light circuit board on both rear lights, is their any special way to do this

just check accurately bulbs if you mixed it could happen like that, some cars for the brake lights use two contact bulbs some of them single contact, two contact bulbs can give two signals which one is used for brake ligths and another for taillight, so check the bulbs carefully

Passanger and third break light don't work, new bulbs and fuses installed. what should i check next?

I would check the turn signal switch first. The brake lights may go thru the switch depending on the configuration.

Right rear turn signal and break light one in the same not working replace bulb and still not working. All other lights and functions working the front passanger turn signal work fine. Id there a relay...

Check the new bulb make sure it is a 4157 bulb. If it is the correct bulb, try switching the left and right bulbs to see if the problem is still on the right side. Check the wiring on the right side, look for damaged or disconnected wiring.

I installed HID headlights and fog lights about 2 months ago and the passanger side went out. i took the drivers side bulb and put it into the passanger side to see if the bulb or the ballast was bad and...

The headlights run through a relay (#46) through the BCM. If the relay were bad (very common and has a recall) both lights would not work. Sooo, I'm thinking check the wiring and pigtail that goes to the bulb. People that use Silverstar halogeon bulbs will burn that wire and or the connector. Make sure these are sound, check for power at the connector too.

F 150 Head light issue

You know the fuse for the high beams is good ( Cab fuse panel fuse # 16 ) and the pass low beam fuse ( cab fuse panel # 26 ).
Might want to check cab fuse panel fuse #28 ( this is the driver's side low beam ).

If this fuse has power on both sides ( with the low beams on ) next you can pull the headlamps, and check for power at the connectors, but depending when the last bulb change took place, I would say you need need bulbs. ( need at least 1 for the high beam out )
Confirming with a meter at the headlamp would be a good idea, before spending the money.

The bulb connector has 3 pins.
Black wire is ground on both sides
Light Green w/ Black stripe wire is high beams on both sides
Driver Lo = Dark Blue w/ white stripe
Pass Lo = Dark Green w/ Orange stripe.

Left side head light was out, so i changed the bulb, but it's still not working. what should i do.

I would check the fuses under the hood for the left head light to see if it is blown. If not try switching the right headlight relay to the left one and see if the problem switches to the othere side. If it does switch to the other side get a new relay and put it in the side that isn't working.

1992 Honda Accord LX Brake Light Switch Repair

Of course you can make this repair! I'm wondering about the faulty bulb that shorted out all the brake lights...not sure if that's what happened. Your brake light switch is located on the brake pedal, up above where your foot goes. It has a plug in connector which you unplug, then loosen the locknut where it attaches to the pedal.Put in the new switch, lock nut 1st, then plug it in. Note that the locknut is the adjustment point that determines when your brake lights go on. Adjust the locknut so that the brake lights go on when the pedal is depressed within 1/2 an inch (13mm)of pushing down on it. If the switch is adjusted without enough play (say 1/8 inch or less), brake lights may flicker on and off when you go over a bump.If over 1/2 inch, brake lights might go on only if great force on pedal is used (or not at all, yikes!).For good diagrams of parts check out South Bay Honda (hondapartscheap)web site. You enter the year, model, engine, and you can scroll thru tons of parts. If you have any more questions, do not hesitate to post it for me. countrycurt0
