I own a 2001 Chrysler 300M. I'm filling out an insurance quote form & need to know what stock security system I have. There is a blinking red light upon the dash in the middle. The insurance quote catagories I believe I should select from are: Alarm Only; Passive Disabling; Actice Disabling. I know I don't have LoJack. Please specify. The vehicle has not been modified from a stock condition. Thank you. JohnG

If it's the factory installed alarm system it's Active Disabling.

It is an active disabling. Unlike earlier GM's, where the security light would come on and the car won't start, the 300 disables the ignition and does everything it can with thye horns and lights to get attention, short of calling the police itself.

The question is why?

Is there a problem?

Was the intake smoke tested & found to have a failed gasket?

Are you removing it at home in the driveway, if so, watch some

I have a 2001 Chrysler 300m and I can't get it

Could be a security problem, the starter, or the neutral safety switch.
Someone would need to check for power at the starter terminals.

I have a 99 Chrysler 300M that had a slight radiator leak...I had put stop leak in it and it seemed to help for awhile. I know that radiator is aluminum & plastic...well yesterday something happened...

If there is other leak other than the one you have found, air may have entered the system. To ensure that it does not get in and that your are filling up the correct amount of water squeeze the radiator hose on top after each fill to squeeze out the air. You can also let the engine run while pouring water one at a time.

Looking to upgrade speakers, where are they, how many, how do I get to them?

You can go to BestBuy audio department, let them know the vehicle make and model, and they can tell you what speakers you have. There is no charge for this.

2000 Chrysler 300M CD player on strike

You will need to have the player repaired, but a new one! I really doubt, call your local dealer and ask for the number of the local company that is authorized to repair Chrysler /Dodge sound systems, do not go through the dealer, they will 2X the repair bill that the shop charges them, also you can check on the internet for automotive radio repair, call a few to get and idea of the cost, if they have exchange units inquire about this as well, fore warned is fore armed
