1999 chevy silverado truck will start first thing in the morning, but then has problems starting the rest of the day. Sounds and smells flooded too. Starts best when its very cold outside.

In the morning if you turn the key w/o starting it and let it sit a while before starting, does it have trouble starting / smell flooded? If so, likely a bad / leaky injector.

Otherwise, I'd check the O2 sensor(s), likely have a bad one.

hope this helps.

2001 Chevy impala started the night before morning it started running rough died it would ed start fuel pump ok try starting it Nothing but smell gas what could be wrong?

if your smelling gas then it sounds like an ignition problem or timing, could be something in the distributor, coil, or plugs worn out. if this has the corvette motor in it with the distributor mounted at the front of the motor behind the water pump they are known for distributor problems.
