My interior driver side door handle broke trying to get a quote for a replacement door hanle

specting you have your new door handle on hand, star by removing philips screw, look at your new door hanle and it has tabs or hooks(some are forward others to the back) well now you know to what direction pull/push the handle to unhook, pull a litle on it until you see a steel rod hooked to handle, take a neddle nose chanel locks and cramped, use a small screw driver to remove clip holding rod, now intall new handle back tracking.

on inside of door panel r3-6 screws pull out panel pop off be gental dont break tabs that unclip 1 screw holds handle on unclip rod connecting hanle on out side 2 handle on inside pull out put together how u took it apart

It most likly broke inside. You will have to remove interior door panel to access all the bolts and rods to replace it.

remove the screws that fasten the interior door panel to the door.  Visually inspect the handle assembly. there will be two cables that connect the handle and lock button to the door lock assembly.  I would bet that the L-shaped end of the interior door handle cable broke.  The replacement is self explanatory for the handle. Google the door lock assembly which isn't as visable.  Bob

you must remove the door trim panel. the inside handle is bolted to the door with a lock and latch cable attached to it. screw at door hanle cover and another under window and lock master switch, then push clips holding around edge of panel. you will also need to remove small cover for inside of mirror

unscrew the old handle and screw a new one in place

take the panel off and buy a new inside door handle and install it

Replace it with the rear doors handle till you can buy one for the rear door. thats what i did.
