Code p0462 is low voltage on fuel level sensor possible causes are fuel was low more more likely is you filled up while car was running this is a common problem sometimes setting this code. you can check the seal around the gas cap and make sure there are no cuts and its sealing good. i hope this helps

Relates to fuel level sensor in fuel tank.if im not mistaken this is an indication of voltage output from sensor abnormally low.hows your gas gauge been woking lately?

Code p0340, p0462 on subaru outback 2001
Po340 is a cam shaft sensor and po462 is low voltage on your fuel guage. So i assume you are haveing fuel level issues. If you can turn wrenches you can do these repairs yourself. Just do a google search and you can get some youtube videos of sensor replacement and location. Have fun.

Code 43
The codes you listed starting with 3 are for cylinder miss on those cylinders. Code 300 is for a random miss.
Code 462 is for a problem with the fuel level sensor circuit.
Generally speaking, trouble codes for any vehicle built after 1996 are 3 or 4 digit. So is code 43 actually P0043 ?
