My drivers side window in my 2003 cady deville doesn't go up or down and the window lock light doesn't light up and also the remote door lock doesn't lock the drivers door either

Power Door Lock Operation
The vehicle is equipped with power door locks. Each lock actuator is powered and controlled by the door module mounted in the individual door, but the rear integration module (RIM), which is the master control for the door lock system, determines when the lock functions are permitted. The RIM receives and examines the requested lock function from the individual door modules, or from the remote function actuator (RFA) via the class 2 serial data circuit. The RIM also examines the transmission shift selector position and the ignition switch position information available over the Class 2 serial data circuits. If the RIM determines that a lock or unlock function is permitted, it sends a class 2 message back to the individual door modules commanding them to perform that Lock or Unlock function.

Check ground wires. One for each head light. Mounted to the body, close to the light. Drivers side has lost ground and is try to get it threw the passenger side. This is why it is dim.

it sounds like a broken wire in the passenger door.

1) Key turns but dose not unlock door. This means that the rod that goes to the back of the lock has came off. This also means that is the reason door is not unlocking with the remote as it pops the lock rod inside the door which pushes the lock open.
2) Key does not turn lock at all but works passengers side door. This means that the locks has been changed in the door, but that doesn't sound like the problem as you say the remote doesn't open the drivers side door so more than likely the rod has came off the back of the lock

If it will not unlock with the key, replace the latch/lock.

If it's like mine It's your security system, try unlocking the doors from your keyfob, then start it. It is a security feature to stop people from breaking a window, breaking lock then stealing your car. it will either wait 20 minutes, or you must unlock a door from the keyfob or by using a key in the outside lock, and not by the inside lock button.

You have to change the setting using the controls on the dash board. It's in the driver settings options. You can also set the radio, air,seats and park assist mirrors to two drivers based on the two remotes.

check releys and wires in door jam 1 might be broken failing that u need a new switch

Will need to take pliers and squease channel back together then install plastic guide and channel to widow.
