My 1990 acura gs fuse always blown up i replace new fuse wen i turn on the back light my fuse blown again

Fuses only blow or fail for 2 reasons

A high current load or a short

Replacing a fuse ,won't fix a thing,
as you found out

You should only have a fuse failure
every 6 or 8 years on any vehicle

If you get a wiring diagram or know
what doesn't work, you should be able
to find the failed component

Sounds like a short, in an old wiring
harness socket.

Try bleeding your brakes by starting from the furthest from the brake master cylinder and make your way up to the front. If that doesn't help, then you brake caliper on that side(right) is bad and needs to be replaced.

Turning lights blinkers will not work

Check that all of the bulbs work. Have someone move the lever to ON and observe. There are little lights at the bumper(s) as well. Also the little light on the dash may have blown.
Check the fuse panel at the left (driver) kick panel.
The last thing is the Integrated Control Unit itself.

I have a 1990 jetta with no headlights

Which fuses did you replace, the very large ones, are they still OK or blown again. If so there is a dead short somewhere.

If OK check each bulb, has been known for two to be blown.

Is it getting gas?? Is the fuel pump working?? A 1990 could have rust in the fuel tank plugging up lines, filter or the pump. Or the fuel pump is not getting power. Just a few thoughts.

Electrical draw acura

Hi. Anything over about 300 milliamps is generally to high. illumi sounds like an abbreviation of illumination. with the fuse out try all your lighting, interior lights, dash lights ect. and see what doesn't work. a common problem is boot lights sticking on as they often cant be seen with the boot closed.

Left side lights Dim and windshield wipers operate

Hello ilandskater2,
It sounds like you may have caused a plug for the lights to come undone or you lost the ground to one side of the car. Some newer vehicles use a reverse type ground system with small computer controlled relays in the system. It sounds like you are getting a reverse feed on the power system under the hood. look at all the plugs and check to see if they are completely pluugged in and check the fuse block to see if any are blown causing the feed back. Check all the grounding points under the hood also. Hope this helps. Regards, rcampsr

the ignition will come on as the engine will have stalled whats happening is when you press the brake the brake servo is taking all the vacuum out of the inlet manifold causing the engine to stall does your brake pedal feel ok because the usuall cause of this problem is the brake master cylinder is leaking brake fliud into the servo the fluid gets sucked into the inlet manifold causing it to get blown out of the exaust replace the master cylnder try again yates210456
