They did not replace an air bag, only the air bag sensors under the car as they become affected by Michigan salt and errode the sensor to where it might not work-at least I don't think they had to get to the air bag inside but will check thanks for the help-Bill

Now that's what I was hoping for before I go to the dealer I bought this car from-this gives me ammunition if the drain is not clogged and since I don't park under trees ever it should not be clogged-very helpful information-thanks a great deal! Super information for the average person. Bill Black

Ok Not sure how to do that rating thing so let me know via my e-mail please. Also at 69 I am ashamed that the National Education system has degraded the average American citizen to a point that they cannot communicate in the simplest form with the English language-that's sad. It has become the norm to be and sound ignorant; however that does not negate a persons gifted ability in learning how to repair something but it does limit their ability to read and study and therefore improve themselves so they wind up being totally dependant upon others ALL THE TIME and that then makes them annoying! What really disturbs meis that Professional people in leadership are eing taught that they have to tolerate that-man they didn't tolerate it when I was growing up-if ya didn't meet the norm ya got fired! Also concerning discipline to caue learning to tkae place almost every American Soldier fighting for these freedome in WW1 and WW11 and Korea were the boys whose dads took rthem out behind the wood shed and wale tha tar out o them when they were disobedient or destructive and we came out ok-look where it got America until the decadent 60's when socialistic communsm came into the education system! We now ****!

There is a drip pan to catch the water that drips from the condenser on the AC unit. Take the vehicle back to the shop and make them repair it. They are responsible for this repair as they broke or dislodged it when they replaced the airbag. Refuse to pay for this repair because they caused the problem. If they give you a problem contact me with their number and your info and I will make them stand behind their work or I will make a full scathing report to the better business people and they don't want that. Let me know how you make out

I did a little research for you on this problem and it is quite a common problem with Dodge Caravans. I thought they had to replace your airbags and that is why I thought they where responsible for your problem. Here is the exact reason you have water leaking and how to fix the problem. Please try to rate this answer again if it lets you so I get recognition for researching this problem for you. I just did not want you to pay for it if it was caused by their recall work. I had recall work done on my Jetta and they broke a part on my heater unit while doing the repair and then tried to charge me for the part I watched them break.

If this turns out to be the problem could you go back and rate it FixYa for me. I spent hours trying to figure out what was happening to your vehicle before I ran across this information describing you problem and how to fix it in exact detail. That way when people have the same problem it will come up for them and I won't have to answer the same question twice or have one of the lesser techs here tell some poor guy to do something stupid. You have no Idea some of the stuff I see from so called experts. I've actually seen one write this to a customer,

"Youer car is broken to bad bring it to a car repairer" Spelled just like that and everything. Could you Imagine what the poor paying customer thought when he read that? They let anyone be a technician here if they answer 30 free questions a month. And there is no moderation other then some automated removal of obscene words. I do this for a hobby to help people out, but some of the techs here do this as a full time job. I've only been doing this since july 15 and I fixed over 250 things for people. When you rate me fixya it will push me closer to the top and the idiots lower down and you slight input may actually help someone avoid running into the idiots. They make up other accounts and vote for themselves and down vote others answers.

Once the asker locks in a fixya vote they can't fool around with it anymore and it get moved into the confirmed answer pool. I pulled that answer directly from dodge as a memo sent out to it's repair tech's So I'm pretty sure it's right. Thanks, I hope all works out well. If you ever need help you can get me directly at Thanks Again,

2005 dodge caravan leaking on the driver side and passenger side floor. the rain water is dropping from corner of the roof.

The rear ac evaporator box is not draining very well, and it is blowing the condensation up threw the vents, most likely. The drain should be under the rear passengers side wheel well.

Air condition leaks into driver side and rear floor board

The evaporator box drain is stopped up.Under hood, under the firewall, right below the ac lines, you will find the drain.Take a small wire, like balin wire and move it in and out of the drain hole to relieve the water,it will pour out pretty good.If this doesn`t work, try compressed air pressure.I hope this helps.

Water is leaking from under glove compartment

water dripping from under the glove box area is usally a sign of water in the heating ducts. water runs down the windshield and goes under the cowel, then instead of draining, it some how enters the air intake for your heating system. Take off your wipers, and remove your cowel, you will be able to see the air intake (on the passangers side) and the reason why the water is being directed into it.

Wet on Passenger side floor when AC is on

Auto ac units have an outside drain for the condensation. If you ever noticed a car running and it looks like it's leaking something on a hot day it's the condensed water from the ac unit draining. What you have is a clogged or disconnected drain hose.
You need to find the hose and drain and reconnect them. Sounds simple, good luck.

Problem with AC

The condensate from the A/C is dripping on the floor. It's supposed to drip into a pan, with an attached hose, and run outside on the ground. The hose is probably clogged. You can see the hose if you look under the vehicle in that general area. It may just have dirt in the end of it.

Best place to start is by calling Chrysler owner relations with your vin#. Number to call should be in your owners manual. Sometimes the dealer will fluff you off, but if owner relations says they'll help, then you have a leg up on the dealer.

Water leak on passenger side on 99 chevy s 10 not anterfreeze, leaks when not being driven

there is only one thing that leaks water there, that is the AC condensation drain, water forms as part of the AC cooling the evaporator core, this water must be drained away or it will flood onto passenger area, so there is a drain on the passenger side at bottom of firewall, will leak allot of water depending on how humid the air is.
