When I turn my key to start my 2003 Toyota Camry, it makes ticking noise and doesn't start. After a few seconds, the alarm goes off and I have to hit the unlock button on my key chain. What could this problem be?

Low battery warning is built into your alarm. have your battery checked at local parts store such as autozone. The ticking means that you have too low voltage to start vehicle.

I accedentallly hit the paniuc button on the keypad and now it wont start

Try dis-connecting the battery and alarm fuse and leave unhooked for at least 15 minutes. Re-attach the battery cables and reinsert the fuse to the alarm. Manually open the driver door with the key and turn left and right 2 times. Turn the ignition on but do not try to start the car yet. Turn off and on at least 7 times. Then try to start the car. If this does not work, then you may need to call the dealer about the correct way to reset the alarm system. You could also try removing the battery from the key and then starting the process over. I am not sure this will work but it is worth a shot. Good Luck!

I lost the alarm remote for my 1996 camry I still have the key but I cannot disable the alarm?

If this alarm system makes it you engine won't start, it is a little more complicated but if all it does is make noise then open the door, open the hood, find the alarm horn (it will be the one making all the noise) and cut the wires. They can be easily spliced back together once you get a new remote.

I have a 1997 Toyota Camry. Recently, the security alarm malfunctioned, blaring the alarm and the remote control on the keys wont deactivate the system even after changing the batteries on them. I recently...

You need to reset the alarm by inserting the reset key(small plastic devise with visible contactors that should be with the keys) for a few seconds in the it's hole in the right-hand rear speaker. Open the boot look at the underside of the rear right-hand speaker to locate the hole.

Ticking noise underneath the car approximately midway.

The sound you hear is the metal parts of your exhaust system and catalytic converter cooling down. Some cars are louder than others but the sound is perfectly normal.
