Need to know which Hyundai, which year, & which engine (if more than one came with that hyundai & model).
Found Reference for P1171

2001-2005 XG300/350, SANTA FE 3.5L

ETS VALVE (THROTTLE) STUCK OPEN

Inspect throttle body & plate & remove/clean any carbon/soot deposits which could be causing 'STUCK OPEN' condition

No References found relating to P1186 - does not exist for US/Canada models

Hi there:
DTC P1171 - Fuel Adaption, Bank 1

Generally this is a fuel injector fault; first I suggest replace the fuel filter and run through some good quality fuel injection system cleaner, if this isnt solve the problem, you will need visit your autoshop in order to check and test orther components with other Volvo specific tools.

Error code p1186 2007 hyundai santa fe diesel need more information on low fuel pressure

there have three factors may be cause the problem,
1.The filter is a source for low fuel pressure, because it is stoped up or is cloged.
2. The fuel pressure regulator is another.
3. The pump itself.

Hello, i have the same car 1999 saab 93 and i am having the same problems. P1171, P0171 , P0300, I had it at the saab dealer and NOTHING. When i come to a stop she starts to shut down.
