1992 Honda accord automatic-4 cyl ex

When in reverse it REALLY jerks like the brakes are being applied every 2 or 3 feet. Takes me 5 minutes to back out of my 90 foot driveway. Forward gears are fine. Trans fluid level is fine. Some visable engine movement when in reverse. Engine mounts are fine.

Rear brakes squeal when car is braking in reverse

I believe you have drum brakes on the back. Not sure. If so, it probably is the automatic adjuster is frozen. This comes into play when you go backwards and apply the brakes. It is used so that the emergency brake is in proper alignment, that is, it only takes a few clicks before the emergency brakes start being applied. If there were no adjuster, as the brakes go old, you would lose the emergency brakes entirely.

Hi i have a 2001 honda accord ex v6 coup. it had an automatic transmission when i put it in reverse it jerks really hard an shakes the car sometimes. when i put it in first gear it jerks the car alittle...

I suggest you have a transmission shop take a close look at your vehicle. That year accord with a v6 and automatic transmission had a recall for the transmission and your problem seems to be a slowly dying tranny.

I own a 1995 honda accord ex 2.2L vtec, and it won't go into reverse no matter what I do..it seems to be locked out. any ideas of what could have happened, and what I need to replace?

If you are unable to get it out of park and into any other gear including reverse check the brake pedal
switch. The brakes have to be applied on most automatics in order to get the car out of park.
The switch should be attached to the brake pedal
under the dash.

Changing valve cover gasket on 92 honda accord EX 4 cyl...

no and should be easy compared to what your used to.  Just put a small dap of silicone at the 4 points the cam bearing caps meet head(don't remove the caps) you will see what I mean when you get into the job. I also recommend distributor  o-ring they leak often and  are also fairly easy. just mark the dist. It will only go in 2 ways it has tabs to align it not gears.
