This is caused by a bad wheel bearing. to locate the right wheel jack the front wheels up and check for the wheel being loose, or with car jacked up in the air with front wheel off the ground put it in drive and see if you can listen for the noise, you may be right with the right front but just double check, good luck, hope this is helpful.

Turn the engine off and inspect the power steering fluid level.
Top off to the correct level.

Check the power steering belt for ATF / grease
Check for loose belt. The normal deflection is under 1/2"
====
Also check for any power steering fluid leak under the high pressure hose and the power steering rack.
Placing a cardboard underneath the front portion of the car is the easiest method.
====
An air pocket in the power steering fluid will cause this noise.
Power steering hose and rack will fail after 160,000 miles.
Start monitor for leak and the power steering hose will be the first step.
====
I recommend you to let a service station to inspect these hoses.
Inspection require moving these hoses.
These hoses can give out without any warning.
When the high pressure side hose and the steering rank give away,30-60% will leak downward to the ground.
2 quarts+ power steering fluid will stain the driveway and parking pad.

I hav a loud roaring noise from front end of my peugeot 307 only at road speed a steady roar that gets louder

Wheel bearing brother, does the noise go away when you veer to the left or right? Quiet veering right?( it's the TT wheel bearing), quiet veering left, ( left bearing is culprit

Roar on the right side

Its probably the left side, not only because you replaced the right side, but because it changes on right turns.
When you go into a right turn, the bearings on the left side are under more pressure and torque.
The front hub bearing goes bad more often than the axle bearing, so I would expect it to be the left front.

Growing noise in front end of Volvo s60

sounds like a wheel brg, if the noise lessens when you turn to the left while driving more than likely it is coming from the right side, but a brg makes more of a roaring noise.

I have an 02 impala Service traction control light comes on right away and when your driving down the road it makes a loud roaring sound when you turn to the left and goes away when you turn to the right....

Hi, your right front wheel bearing has failed. This induces vibration to the wheel speed sensor pickup that caused the traction control fault. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Wheel noise or roar in front end with increased road speed

THIS NOISE IS USUALLY THE HUB. HAVE SOMEONE GO WITH YOU ON A TEST DRIVE. GET THE ROARING TO HAPPEN AT ITS LOUDEST AND GENTLY SWERVE THE CAR LEFT AND RIGHT. DON'T BE SURPRISED IF YOU THINK BOTH HUBS ARE BAD. LIFT THE FRONT OF THE CAR AND PUT IT ON JACK STANDS. PULL OUTWARD ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TIRE WHILE PUSHING INWARD ON THE TOP OF THE WHEEL. IF THE WHEEL MOVES EXCESSIVELY YOU FOUND THE HUB THAT IS NOISY. USING A MECHANICS STETHOSCOPE YOU CAN SOMETIMES HEAR A ROARING TYPE NOISE ON THE BACKING PLATE SIDE OF THE HUB WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AND THE TRANS IN GEAR. TRY NOT TO GET THE SPEED UP TOO FAR ESPECIALLY IF YOU CAN HEAR THE NOISE AT LOW SPEED, YOU DON'T WANT TO VIBRATE OFF THE STANDS.
