Replaced fuel pump and truck ran for 3 wks. quit running again replaced fuel pump again and ran fine. Was driving homr\e stopped at stop sign and truck quit running. Purchased a fuel pump relay installed truck ran fine unti I puilled up to stop sign then died. Engines turns over fine, but will not fire?
Chevy Trucks, Blazers, S10 pickup and the like will vapor lock ecspecially the 2000 models. Do not tighten the gas cap past 1 click. There is a tube that runs from the top of the tank down and this gets hot and collapses or burns in half. We just bought a reinforced rubber tube cut it to lengh and use it instead of part and it's worked grat for 2 years so far.
Change fuel filter may be restricting fuel flow
Maybe the fuel regulator easy to instal
More than likely its a bad termianal connection on top of the fuel pump. Its a comon with chevys'

We had oil changed two weeks ago-no problems noted. Car died in driveway. Not battery-left for day came home and it started. started car this morning went to take to shop and will not start
The check engine light on my 2006 Silverado 1500 keeps turning on for a couple days and off for 3-7 days before turning on again. I took it to 4 car shop/stores to see if they could get a code off of it but my truck won't power any of the computers. The truck itself hasnt given me any issues at all, but the engine light does its own thing. What ould it be?
stars fine. under a load the truck sputters and the engine lite flashes. then stays on. got a code on a scanner po351. changed 3 coils an it did it again.

Driving truck down the highway and quit.
Seem to be no fire and no gas, replace distributor. And Coil
Now rpm's at Idol 600 then racing two 3000 RPM.
Only way to get fuel pump to stop pumping after the key off is too unplug relay.
