The owner's manual will have a fuse box diagram for both fuse boxes. If you don't have the owner's manual a dealership will usually let you look at a diagram or possibly even print one off for you. There may also be a diagram on the fuse box itself or on the fuse box cover. There is also a horn relay that may be bad but that won't affect the cruise control. Please rate this answer, thanks.

Horn doesnt work after re-pack of airbag

The horn, cruse control and air bag each get power from the clock spring and each have a wire plugged no to it. The horn wire is probably not connected. When the clock spring breaks the horn and cruse control stop working and the air bag light stays on.

Horn problems

the horn going off has to do with the clock spring job-somethings not put back right on that job-the horn is set off by pushing on it something internally is pushing on it-tear that back down and check it out. as far as the cruse control is this on the turn sig stem-it may also be messed up by steering column work-check the fuse just to be sure-cheers Denny

The cruse control on my 2001 ford expdeition do not work, my horn works,my brake lights work, when I hold down the cruse button, it dont come on, I want to check the fuse but I dont know which one to pull

i would look at the fuse box, and inside , it should tell you what fuse is for what, if it doesn't, i would recommend you looking it up in your owners manual.

My steering wheel controls quit working. On inspection I found were a wire had been chewed into by a chipmonk.. It cut the wire off right at the plug.. I can splice the one end of the wire bnut im at a...

While I do not have a wiring diagram, that wire may provide power to a computer that controls all of the steering wheel controls. So, it's possible. Not sure of how probably.

I'd probably try to temporarily jury-rig the connection, test the controls to determine if you have a bigger problem, then sadly, look at replacing the entire harness or at least splice a new connector into the wiring. Not sure what level of parts Ford will sell you.

Also, may want to check the fuses (suspect if you traced wires, you already did this) in case a blown fuse is causing the loss of multiple systems.

The horn and cruse control don't work

I had the same exact thing happen to me, I found out that there was a recall on the clock spring that I never received a notice for, the repair was made for free through dodge.
