Try to flush and fill with new fluid to get the passageways free of sediment.

Or, try to see if the fans are coming on at the right speed at operating temperature. May require new fans/relays/wiring to fix this problem.

I have a 1997 Cadillac Deville that was overheating its Northstar engine and it required service amounting to about $700.00 or so from an auto electric shop, but afterwards it ran cooler.

Good luck on this repair.

01 AURORA overheating after driving for 45mins to 1 hr. have

remove expansion tank cap (if fitted) take off the highest hose clip in the system and fill from there if you have an air lock in the system it will be obvious...after connecting back up, fill tank with neat anti freeze.(if tank is higher than hose, fill tank as air is expelled from the pipe.)

2007 cady limo, runs good, good driver compartment heat, no heat in rear of limo, have removed manual and vacuum values, run water through rear heatrer lines and core, let run with heaters on high and...

There is a valve on the line to the rear heater core. Sounds like when actuated, the water is not coming to the rear core. What you must do is locate the lines to the rear core and see if they are both hot, (incoming and outgoing)..this will let you know if what I am saying is correct. Secondly, if they are not, you must locate the valve on the incoming hot line and see if it is working when you attempt to heat the rear...If not, you either have a bad valve or the linkage is not opening and closing the valve...A visual inspection by one person while the other is turning it from heat to cool should confirm which it is. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!

98 cad deville is running at 210 degrees

Reverse flush the cooling system and put in fresh antifreeze to -20. (20 below zero). If that doesn't help, replace the thermostat.
