I just replaced the battery in my 2005 Honda CRV, this naturally caused the clock to stop. Now when I turn on the radio the word "Code" is displayed on the scree and when I press Clock to try and reset the time, it doesn't beep and the incorrect time continues to flash. The radio stations won't show up either; has the whole unit gone bad?

The code is usually on a sticker on the side of your radio or the side of the glove box. sOME TIMES THEY WILL PUT ONE OF THE STICKERS IN YOUR OWNERS MANUAL ALSO Good Luck
you should have the code with your owners manual documents, it looks like a credit card. Call your dealer with your vin and they may be able get the code, at the worst you will need to remove the radio and give them the serial number.
I had the same issue with the radio code error lock on a 2005 CRV. I was unaware of the code procedure and had locked the radio in the "ERROR E" mode. I was able to unlock the radio by pulling the #9 back up fuse located in the fuse box in the engine compartment. This reset the radio to CODE which then allowed me to input the 5 digit number which I had in my glove box along with my owner's manual. I am happy to report I now have a working radio/ CD player.
