You might want to check for Technical Service Bulletins that may point you at the answer. You can see the titles of the bulletins for your vehicle at Alldata.com. Try the following link:

Rattling noise in left front end of truck near wheel well at slow speeds

Remove the front wheel and check the wheel bearing, sometimes you may have to may have to put a bar under the wheel and try to lift it up hard, this will give you an indication on where any movement is. THERE IS A PROBLEM and you need to find it

When i press the gas pedal i can hear a rattling sound

Hi, there a couple of things that can cause this rattling type noise on acceleration the most common was the serpentine drive belt tensioner there was a service bulletin to address this. That bulletin number is EG021-07. The other problem is with the heat shields on the exhaust have a tendency to rattle also. I would have your local mechanic inspect both of these issues have them pull the service bulletin to verify whether not yours has been replaced or is making noise.

1999 Honda CR-V rattles during acceleration

Usually it is a loose rusted exhaust heat shield or shields.
Slide under and tap the exhaust system and shields from front (on the engine )to back.......there will be at least one rattle heard.

Front suspension noises, bad new struts?

It sounds like the mechanic may have left the upper strut nut a bit loose, you may want to ask him to check it, but be nice, Toyota had some problems with upper strut mounts. These are on the top of the strut, they hold them to the body of the car. Unfortunately you have to remove and disassemble the struts to replace them. You could try asking your mechanic to just replace the one side and try it. I'm pretty sure that's your problem and he may give you a break since he's done all the other work. There is also a bulletin on a rattle from the side view mirror, but I think since this just started with the strut job, the mount is your most likely cause.
