My fisher minute mount 2 motor keeps running on my ford until I unplug the main power part of the harness. The plow will still operate all 4 ways, but I'm going to burn out the motor.what will cause this motor to continually run? Thanks

First make sure you have a good cable feeding the solenoid battery terminal check with a test light if ok, turn the plow switch on and test both sides of the solenoid if there's battery voltage there check at the plow lift motor is it plugged in, if so check at the plow lift motor battery terminal and if it lights your light repair the motor....these motors are know for seizing or getting stuck if you take the cap off you can probably fix it, put a punch mark on the cap, barrel and end frame to ensure alignment when reassembled. I hope this helps. Take Care.

My plow went up it was jerking and did it in steps , but , it got there . Now , it onlyjerks when i try to angle it right or left or up . I filled the fluid ... Drop it and if it doesn'traise you can just use a jack and shorten the transport chain to hold it. .... I do havecontinuity on the plow side for all 3 wires going to the plug .

Not familiar with model, but valves click at the same time motor is suppose to run. Check power and ground to motor (or try running it with jumper cables, but don't be where plow can angle and squish you. If good power but won't spin, clean brushes/commutator/check bearings in motor.
