On a 1995 kia sephia when it is cold and first started the horn honks and the parking lights flash and does not stop until it warms up a little, so it lasts longer when it is cold.

I have a 94 Kia sephia and had the same issue try unplugging the timing control box located above the fuse box my car runs perfect and doesn't try and make me look like I'm stealing it anymore. Sincerly Alex.
You will need to replace that "stop horn" fuse since it also feeds power to the stop lamps and the gear shifter solenoid, when you step on the brake pedal. Your best bet is to unplug the horn on the vehicle(to stop it from honking) until you can get it fixed. That way, you will be able to shift out of park to get it to a shop for repairs.
check to make sure that your mass air flow sensor is working properly and your clean air supply to the throdle body is all connected and functioning. allong with the sensors connected to that. it sounds like your cars mas air flow sensor is giving an incorrect high reading to your ecu...so your car thinks it is taking in more air than it is... the fuel injectors are trying to compensate for the high air flow but because that air flow does not exist the car stalls.
Depends how they installed the remote, there is normally an option to connect a wire to the horn and one to the parking lights, however it may be possible that they didn't attach those 2 or simply that remote module didn't have it, however most do. This may be too simple, but mine only honks and flashes after pushing lock twice, it locks on the first push.
The fob is infamous for its battery life. It gets drained so quickly that there happens to be a little later when the fob is very close to the door lock, ignition & unnecessary triggers the alarm due to low reception as the battery of the fobs discharges very fast, depending on the model, which has a certain virtual sheild(STARTRECK type) which is triggered by the fobs strength of the signal(radi waves).
Why not try a new set of batteries for your fob?? .................................sodeep
the older cars like that have little contacts that touch each other and if they touch the hor blows. the cover needs to be taken off and readjust the contacts. its alot more difficult when there are airbags. so DO NOT attempt if there are airbags in the car. very dangerous
