There is NO sticker for the code on the radio.if you havnt got it,you will have to have the radio recoded by a specialist or some dealers put the code into the makers service mainframe so you will have to PAY for the code.if you enter the wrong code it will die for 12 hours if left on.also there is NO default code number.the code came on a bit of card in the service book.but some bright sparks take it out to pis... us off.(nearly ALL cars have coded radios now)do not buy a radio unless you get the code and are sure its the right code.......(ebay,etc).would like to be more helpful but.....

Need the code for the radio

None of the mitsubishi cars stereos have the same code, I had this problem with the stock stereo on my 99 eclipse spyder, I removed the stereo and put an aftermarket in, but changed it back when I was trading the car in, You have to call mitsubishi customer sevice with the serial code number on the back of the radio, also you have to provide them with information to prove that you actually own the car.

I do not have the radio code for my 2001 eclipse GT

Hi,
In order to get the radio code, you need to retrieve the serial number from the top of the radio.
To do this, remove the two philips screws below the radio trim panel and remove the trim panel. The serial number is on the top left corner of the radio on a white sticker.
Provide that number to your local dealer parts counter or over the phone and they will decode your radio for you, or add a new question here with that information and I can provide the unlock code for you.

2001 mitsubishi .need radio code

Type car radio code into your search engine.Their are websites there which will get it for you. You will need the serial number so you will probably have to remove the radio to find it. It will be on a sticker or inprinted in the casing. When you send them the serial number it only takes a few minutes for them to send it to you.

Hi there, Had a few problems with my car and removed the battery. So I too needed the code. By using the numbers you assign to each radio station is how I entered the code then just hit am/fm. The code I used for my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse is 1571. Good Luck,

I need the radio code for misubishi 2002 eclipse spyder

look in your glovebox and see if you have one of these cards. they come with every new mitsubishi.
if not you'll need to pull out the radio and take it to the service department at your local mitsubishi dealership. they will enter the serial number off the sticker on radio into their computer and give you the unlock code.

Radio code

I had the same problem. Dealer will fix but they want ridiculous amount. Call Mitsubishi customer service. They will need info: Serial number and model number of the radio. The numbers are on the side or back of the radio (Easy removal-just need a screwdriver). Also they ask for proof of ownership Fax it over to them, then call back for the code. Its easy and its cheap.
