2. Just give your self (x gallons in a full tank / y miles per gallon = z at how many miles to fill it to the top again) I did this for years with an 81' rabbit.
The rotor bearings are bad in the fuel pump. Pull the gas tank and replace the pump before it fails, it will likely be in the near future or when the weather turns cold..
12 yrs for a injector too old. really need to replace. the nozzle gives unacceptable spray pattern. that's why not get the proper performance of the engine.
This issue would not be timing, more likely something with the fuel control. The K jetronic fuel injection has several temprature sensitive controls, I suggest that you have a shop diagnose for you, as parts are expensive, so you want to replace only what is needed.
one is located over the battery, the other is located in the side of the dash.
First panel: If you pop your hood the battery will be on your right sid in the front of the engine bay. There is a small rectangular piece on top of the battery with a lot of heavy guage red wires going to it. That is the engine bay fuse box.
Second panel: if you open your driver side car door it's under neath a panel located inbetween the door and the dash board.
