This is most likely due to a vacuum leak. Start the truck and raise the hood. Listen for a broken or disconnected vacuum hose. (Loud hissing noise). If this is not the problem it is probably a problem with the diverter box.
Have the engine fans and relays checked. If the engine fan does not come on when the a/c compresser kicks in then the air that comes out the vents will be warm.
