Okay I have a 2001 Kia Sportage and it leaks on the passenger side every time it rains how do I solve this problem please

drain shuttle is blocked, leaves etc get stuck down there and block the drain hole in turn the water finds it way out usually thought the heater intake, cannot find a video on your model but its similar on all models. you will just need to look round to where it holds the cover down. Does your car leak when it rains This could be the fix your model will be different. but will work just the same.

Where is the resister block located?

To remove a radiator in a 2001 Kia Sportage you must start by removing the undercover and than drain the coolant into suitable container. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses, then disconnect coolant reservoir tank.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Need to bypass heater core on 2001 kia sportage

Find two small hoses, probably about as big around as a man's thumb and black. These are not wire bundles. They go into the firewall behind the engine, most likely on the passenger side. Take off the hose clamps and pull the hoses off the heater core ends, Buy yourself a short piece of pipe the same size as the heater core, put the hoses on either end and tighten down the hose clamps. Anchor it somewhere with zip ties so it does not flop around under the hood and you are done. Move south, going to be cold in there this winter. You are not going to have any defroster either..

It would be to hard to tell and show you over the computer.
The best and easiest way for you is to buy a Chilton manual for your car at the autoparts store. The book runs about $20
This book is a do-it-yourself bible. It will show you everything you need to know on how to do maintenance and repair on your vehicle.

2001 kia sportage blower motor resister

Rule of thumb...unless you get a better answer:  look for a couple of wires on a small plate that is in the airflow of the fan on the heater/ac unit.  The resistor pack is always air cooled by the fan.
