The following is from a Haynes manual for 1993-1996 toyota corolla and geo prism:

Code 14: ignition signal. No ignition signal to the ECM. Check igniter or circuit, ignition coil, ig. switch or circuit, ECM (engine control module or "computer")

Code 24: intake air temperature sensor. Open or short in the intake air temperature sensor circuit. Check intake air temp. sensor or wiring to ECM.

Thanks I got the problem solved, everyone ws saying the computer was the problem but it wasn't I just changed the distributor cap now its working perfectly. I changed my mounts which was also a problem that i had but the car still make a loud noise when changing from part to drive or to reverse as if metal hitting together. Does anyone know what that could be.

2009 toyota corolla, check engine light flashing and engine sputtering. When driving it will randomly go up to 3000 rpms and then bog down. Why.

You need to pull the fault codes with a code reader, you have a misfire in the engine, the fault code will indicate which one, then you do the needed diagnostics to pin down the cause of the misfire.

My toyota corolla, 2007, has the check engine light on,

You need to have the car scanned for fault codes to determine the nature of the problem. Go to AutoZone or similar place to have the codes scanned.

Malfunction indicator lamp in my toyota corolla is on how i fix?

The check engine light also called the malfunction indicator comes only when the computer control unit (called the PCM) senses a fault in the electronic controls of the engine and/or the emission system, there are about 200 possible faults that turn the light on, to know what has developed a problem you must have the system tested, this is called an OBD2 fault code test, Kragen and Autozone parts stores do this testing for free.

ECS likely stands for Engine Control System. If you have the check engine light on, you should have the car scanned for fault codes.
