Look in your trunk. Pull down or away the carpeted lining which covers the rear seat back wall. You will find a fuse box panel on the left passenger side when you do this.

You'll have to test each fuse with a tester that lights up when a fuse is bad and it is powered if you can't find the sticker that has the fuse locations and guide for the abbreviations.
i have a 2005 chevy malibu and i close the trunk with the keys inside and the little button on the door is stock but the car is open is and other way to open the trunk from inside of the car?
The #3 fuse does service both windows and door locks and #2 services a control module that affects door locks.
Inspect them closely since the fuse element can crack when blowing and this is much harder to see.
Pull a least #3 and plug it back in in case the contact blades have stopped comunicating with the mating connector.
To troubleshoot this effectively, you really need a cheap multimeter and the Haynes service manual for your car, #89101.
The manual has very good electrical diagrams in section 12 so you can logically trace the problem.
They are available at most every auto parts chain store and cost ~ $20-25 US.
I had this problem on my 2005 s type.The problem was the valet switch in the glove box was in the lock position.i pressed it ,and now it works fine.Try this..
Try having a second person pull on the door as you press the button, and also listen by the door to see if you can hear the release latch working. Also, open your trunk, and on the same side as your gas tank will be a little pull handle as an emergency release for your fuel door. It may be behind the trunk liner, but usualy they are easily accessable. and if you have any other problems, refer to the owner's manual to locate the release.
