Re: OIL LIGHT COMES ON AT COMPLETE STOP.
CAR CUTS OFF...
From other sources:
The oil light that only comes on at idle or stop is due to a dirty or faulty Oil Sensor in the oil pan. They get gunked up due to a bad design and sludge build up. Easy to fix, just replace or have replaced at next oil change.
OIL LIGHT COMES ON AT FULL STOP / WITH D MODE OR N MODE
i have a 2004 sebring limited and it has 66,000 miles on it but every time i come to a complete stop the ol light comes on
Same problem here. I'm thinking it has something to do with the idle being set to low. I've read many posts on the oil pump, sending unit etc being replaced with no luck. Going to talk to my mechanic on how to up the idle speed because it doesn't seem to do it unless the car is below 750rpm.
I notice the same issue and when I rev it up, it goes away.
I have been told I need to replace 4 sensors.
I also have problems with my temperature guage.
Love the car...hate the car!
I have the same problem. The oil light comes on when the car is @ at stop or slowing down. Sometimes it even goes dead. When i rev the RPM's up the light will go off. My oil is showing full. Has anyone got a solution yet?
