1999 ford windstar 3.8 v-6 just started a vibration while driving sometimes but not all the time seems like the van whats to surge sometimes and vibrate it seems to do it more when i hit a bump in the road. I think its more like a surge then a vibration..

You have a failed forward clutch, time for a rebuilt.

You need the dealer to scan the Body control module while this is happening, i think you have a defective door ajar switch here.

gauges I have no idea but check your fuel pump

its vapor locking, losen the fuel cap the next time it does it if that takes care of the problem then replace the fuel cap!!!

no problem just no over drive and it will burn more fuel

better inspec engine for loose wires hoses etc they go bad wens the last time u did a toonup -chec electrical 1st wat appears to be a leak maybe other mite want to scan it at auto zone ***sometimes surgeing comes from bad IAC Actuator on the throttle body

sounds like a large vacuum hose was knocked off the engine when they pulled the trans out, have that checked.

if you run the van about 50o60. MPH.and stars the vibration.have the tires being balanced. and outer tie rods check. inner tie rods o alignament

With the engine check light blinking, it would be a good idea to drive past the dealers and have them do a scan on the vehicle....You may be having a problem with the fuel pump....The pressure return valve or the throttle body.....Could also be a number of other defects which will cause the problem that you're having.....A scan will tell you what the problem is without having to guess
