Assuming that you used an aftermarket wiring harness and aftermarket radio, you would want to first disconnect power from your battery and then inspect the wire splices behind the radio in the dash. You will be checking for any damaged, exposed or broken wires. If any faults are found correct the issue and then check the radio fuse located in your vehicles fuse panel, and also check any subsequent in-line fuses ( particularly for power from the battery) and also the mini fuse in the back of the radio. If you have any of the described issues correcting the fault should alleviate the issue.

Cassette player works in 1994 Geo Prizm works, but all I get is static for AM/FM. Traced antenna from stereo to roof, and seems fine. Anything I'm missing. Thank you.

Get your hands on another am antenna....any one will do and attach it to your radio. If that clears it up replace the wire and antenna. If that does not then move to the radio as the suspect. The other thing I need to ask is how long have you had the car and has the AM worked on this before?

1994 Geo Prizm LSI running one day won't crank next day

turns over and crank are the same thing,
so you are saying it does crank over but no start, right?
you need to determine if you have at least 50psi of fuel pressure in fuel rail at reed valve.
