When changing the oil it is important to wet the sealing o-ring with oil before screwing it on. Tighten the filter 3/4 turns after the seal touches the engine. Most oil filters have clear installation instructions on the box or actual filter. Look carefully , if your oil filter is leaking, Take off the leaking filter and replace it with a new one. Top up the engine oil as needed.

Where is the oil filter in a 2004 alero oldsmobile located

Under the front of the car. On V6 models, just behind the radiator, you have to remove the protection cover behind the front bumber to lower it after removing it, there are two wing-type nuts that hold the panel in place.

Clear Oil leak on Mitsi Mirage 1989

could the clear oil actually be water?. if it is leaking out in the area around or behind the passenger side front wheel on hot days, it is probably water from your A/C, system. it has an overflow or drainage pipe, as the process of cooling the air dehumidifies it and produces water. just a guess though
