My 2008 Accent radio was working great last week. We had some bad snow this weekend. I went to turn on the radio on Monday and the radio was staticy and sounded like the speaker in the back was not working properly (all scratchy and staticy). The radio will work for a few minutes and then totally go dead - then it will be staticy. I took it in the Hyundai dealer and they said it was an "inner malfunction" and had to be replaced. Unfortunately they said it was not covered under warranty and would cost $700 to replace. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try checking the coax antenna wire coming out of the back of the radio. The antenna wire use to plug in, and I've had problems with them viberating out.

Was the automatic belt tensioner replaced or even checked? if if has lost tension then the belt is loose and slip[d under a load, which you hear as a screeching noise.

'07 Hyundai Elantra w/intermittent Radio Problem!

Is it still under warranty? Could be! Take it into Hyundai Service Center, have it checked/ diagnosed. At least the wiring/connections can be checked to see if they are the problem.. then again, the problem is intermittent, and those are the most difficult to run down Sometimes a "shock" or "wiggle" test reveals the cause.

2003 Trailblazer- no power after key stuck in ignition

Sounds like an antitheft problem I would start with the antitheft system. Usually when you only have one key all keys have to be programmed together even the original. When you have more than one it is easy to program additional keys.

1992 GMC Sierra Won't turn over

You either need to charge the battery, or you've got a bad battery. It's easy to power lights and radios, but turning an engine over, especially in cold weather, takes a lot of cold cranking amps (in other words, a fully charged and good battery.).
