Page 426 of the 2008 Grand Cherokee Owner's Manual describes the interior fuse panel as being on the lower instrument panel just to the left of the steering column. This would give access to the O/H lamp fuses (a 10 Amp Red fuse in cavity 12). However, it does not describe how to remove the panel to get to the fuses.

Most fuse covers are held on by a simple friction latch. Just exert a little pressure when pulling on the molded handhold and it should pop right out.

Gas gauge doesnt work

Yes the gauges are on a fuse marked gauges.
I think that fuse is in the interior box, could be in the glove compartment, under the instrument panel, or on either end of the dash where the door closes. Your owner's manual should help you there.

Need to change flasher relay in 1997 Mercury Grand marquis . where is it?

From the 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis 4.6L SFI 8cyl repair manual, the Flasher is located behind left side of instrument panel. The turn signal and emergency flashers are attached to the interior fuse panel. They are replaced in the same manner as the fuses and circuit breakers.

Need to find cigarette lighter fuse location

Hello Dona109. According to the owners manual I have for a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it is the Slot 26 fuse in the fuse panel. The fuse panel is on the lower instrument panel just to the left of the steering column.
Here is a quick pic I took, and illustrated so you can see which one needs to be replaced:
