I need to find the model type of transmission a 1991 chevy s-10 blazer, 4x4, 4.3 liter. My transmission is going out and I need to know the tranny info to get it fixed?

nope wont work big difference 94 OBD 1 type and 1999 OBD 2 type transmission.electronics differents.

The heads are actually 9/16, the bell housing bolts are standard, not metric. All the other bolts are metric.

I would guess $500 - $1500 to do this job depending on how much damage was done when the arm was bent.

"SMALL OIL AND TRANSMISSION LEAK AND THE RADIATOR LEAKS OUT SLOWLY." -- the radiator leak could get bad enough to require repair.

I think $400 obo is an okay price, can't get much lower for a vehicle that will get you to the store and back.

If when you changed the distributor cap you misplaced the wires in the incorrect order you could have caused a misfire. When looking at the cap the correct firing order for a 4.3 liter is 165432 going clockwise. Also if you loosened the distributor hold down bolt and turned the distributor even slightly you could cause a misfire.
