In the passenger front fender , but he can locate a green with a pink strip wire in a bundle of wires on the fire wall and he can hook the positive wire of the airhorn to that and ground the - wire to the frame or battery and the air horn will work with the sterring wheel button.

I can't get my horn to work on my 2001 dodge caravan.

Do you have a air bag light lit on the instrument cluster ? I ask this because , if the air bag light is lit , could be a clock spring problem . I know ,what the heck is this guy talking about . You have a air bag on the steering wheel ,the horn button is on the steering wheel . The clock spring is located under the steering wheel , in the top of the steering coulmn . It has flat wire tape in side that allows the steering wheel to be turned full left to full right , keeping the horn , air bag , an any other button's on the steering wheel connected electricly to the vehicle. Plus there is a relay , when you push the horn button it energizes the relay turning on the horns. Watch these videos , will explain a little better .

Horn quit working need to find out where it is located under the hood of a 1998 ford windstar. Does not toot any more

There is more involved then just the horns ! Fuse , horn relay in the I/P fuse box , clock spring located under the steering wheel . Is the air bag light lit on the instrument cluster ? If so the clock spring is probably the issue . The way to find out what the problem is by testing the electrical circuit . VEHICLE RELAYS Operation Diagnosis

2002 ford excursion horn stopped working

The first step would be to check the fuse-box for a blown fuse associated with the circuit the horn is on. The fuse box can be accessed on the driver's side under the steering wheel. If this does not help, come back to FixYa, and I will be glad to be of further assistance.

Location of horn on 2003 excursion

You have to remove the right front inner fender plastic liner to access the horns. To get to the bolt that holds them you have to remove the battery and tray.

Ford excursion

you will need to locate the hood release cable behind the pull handle and pull the cable with pliers and once the hood is open you can rig something through the grill to open. But I would recomend replacing the cable or the pull release to keep others out from under hood.
