you have moisture in the system this causes your expancion valve to freeze up an stop working, thats why it works for sort time and when it de-freezes stars working again. you need to do a EVAC & RECHARGE with a good AC service equipment, specially attention to pull vacumm por at least 20minutes so you get all moisture out of the system.
Good luck
IF YOU HAVE 2.0L ENGINE BELT BREAKS YOU WILL LOSE AC AND DEFROST CONTROLS.WONT BLOW COOL AIR.IF YOU HAVE THE ONE MAIN DRIVE BELT IF BREAKS.CAR WILL LOSE ALL CONTROLS.YOU WILL LOSE ALTERNATOR POWER,LOSE POWER STEERING.YOU WILL POWER ASSIST ENOUGH TO GET CAR OFF ROAD YOU WONT BE ABLE TO VERY SHARP CURVE.YOUR WATER PUMP STOP WORKING.IF BELT LOOKS BAD FIX IT .DONT LET IT BREAK.
your ac compressor is freezing up try not putting it on cold all the way. put thermostat towards the red jus a lil but still on the cold side to see if that helps
disconect the baterie wait 5 min re conect bat then start if this fails check all the fuses under hood in master pannel they might have blowen one when fartin arround with rad
Technical Information: When the engine overheats (goes above 220 to 230 degrees), the ECM (Engine Contro Module) will disable the AC (won't let the compressor engage). This is a safety feature of the EMS (Engine Management System) to reduce potential damage to the engine from an overheat condition. Check your coolant level in the radiator & reseviore -- Low coolant level can produce the symptom you describe -- if low, top them off. Inspect your radiator hoses/cooling system for any signs of leakage (crusty deposits of dried coolant). Wherever you find this, that's where it's leaking. If you don't find any signs of leakage, replace the thermostat (& gasket if required (as a precaution) anyway. When the engine overheats, both cooling fans should come ON HIGH! If they aren't/don't, something's wrong and you need to find the cause. Every two to three years the cooling system should be flushed and inspected to ensure proper operation/condition and system protection. Overheating can seriously damage the engine. $$$$. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
P0715 is the imput speed sensor is open or shorted. The P1529 is the transmission control module(computer) requsting the check engine light to turn on. These sensors are prone to going bad.
Sounds like the waters not flowing correctly could be thermostat or other blockage. Are radiator fans working when vehicle is at operating temperature?Generaly this is a thermostat fault or faulty temperature sensor.
ac suddenly stopped cooling compressor clutch not working.
05 doing the same thing. took out the A/C relay in the engine bay and jumped it with a 14 Gauge wire and the A/C clutch starts working again but still no A/C.
