Year/make/model???? Pulling this fuse will cause the ecm memory to be erased. You may have to hold your foot on the gas pedal somewhat and coax it to start and get it running so the ecm can perform a relearn. Not a wise idea to pull this fuse. Worst case scenerio is internal ecm failure
You don't need DRL if it s not a required pass test. pull the fuses and relays. DRL is controlled by the BCM( body control module). Your can of worms can be costly..If your lights work, pull the fuses.
if the check engine lite doesn't work it most likely needs cluster removed and bulb replaced its blown. if the computer is bad it wont run. I wanna say that ecu fuse will clear code from computer but its not main power to it. I would start with the bulb that way you can get code.
Not knowing what fuse you pulled it will be difficult to know what went wrong. My advice is to ask a tech in the motor shop, to have a look. Tell him / her, what you did and point out what fuse you pulled. That could finding the defect easier for the tech.
Gauge fuse runs a fuel module that is installed to correct vapor lock. This module is what is running the pump. This module, called the hot fuel module is mounted on the passenger side behind the dash above the blower motor.
Why not just have him put something back? He probably pulled the ECM fuse. Do you have the owners manual for it? Look for an empty spot in the fuse box and put a fuse in it until it starts. When you turn the key to run, just before the start position, does the check engine light come on?
Thats because on the G6 your entire control center and brain of your car is ran through your radio. Without the fuse to your radio, there is no current getting to the controllers for the G6's quick click auto start feature. The G6 does not use a regular starter cylinoid like most cars older than 2004-2005. The controlling signal of starting your car when you click your key over for that split second is run through systems housed and integrated in the radio.
