Your brake switch needs adjustment, located down under dash on brake bracket, when the brake is depressed it lets the switch out, and when the brake is not depressed the switch is in. adjust the switch by screwing it closer to the pedal so it gets depressed more, usually 2 turns will do it

Have a 2001 Cadillac DHS, no brake lights, cannot find the exact fuse location. Shud be under rear seat but none are listed as BRAKE LIGHTS

What's a DHS ?
Stop Lamps

The STOP LP fuse in the rear fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the normally open stop lamp switch. When the brake pedal is pressed, the stop lamp switch contacts close and battery positive voltage is supplied to the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) and the turn signal/hazard flasher module stop lamp switch signal input. In response to this input the turn signal/hazard flasher module supplies battery positive voltage to the left and right LED tail lamp assemblies. The CHMSL and left tail lamp have ground at G402. The right tail lamp has ground at G401. The stop lamps illuminate when they receive both power and ground.

On a 2007 Kenworth T800 what causes the brake lights to come on , the cruise to shut off, and application pressure to stay up

the brake lights will come on when the brake light switch senses air pressure in the switch
That will disconnect the cruise control as it reads that you have put the brakes on
The application pressure I take it is the pressure in the brake lines when the brake pedal is depressed
I would be looking at a leaking valve in the foot brake treadle valve

2004 srx rear running lights went out. Lights come on when brakes are applied and when turn signal is applied

Sounds like you have a blown fuse. Check owners manual for location of fuses, should be under steering wheel.

Right and left brake lights do not work when brake pedal depressed. Both tail lamps work as well as both turn signals

Hi,
check the brake light switch located in the brake pedal area. Normal procedure is to remove the two wires and connect a jumper' wire between them, check and see if the rear brake lights operate. Check the brake light switch and see if it is adjustable. If so, re-connect the removed wires, adjust the position of the switch untill the brake lights operate, when the brake pedal is depressed, then secure the brake light switch.

Saturn tail lights won't go off?

Tail lights or brake lights? if it is the brake lights then the light switch is malfunctioning or is stuck. it is usually located somewhere on the arm of the brake peddal. When you depress the brake peddal it pushes the switch in like a doorbell button and take your foot off, it releases and the lights go out.
